Two brand-new 10-passenger party boats will double the size of the BrewBoat flotilla

BrewBoat Cleveland again will make waves on the Cuyahoga River this summer with the debut of two new “BrewBoat Lite” party boats. The new 10-passenger vessels, designed by Cascade Cycleboats in Bend, Oregon, are slightly smaller than BrewBoat’s original cycleboats and switch out pedal-power for pub stools.

BrewBoat III and BrewBoat IV will hit the water in mid-June and feature many of the same amenities as the original BrewBoats, including:

  • Built-in coolers fully stocked with ice for each cruise;
  • the BrewBoat’s popular central-bar layout;
  • powerful JBL Bluetooth sound systems;
  • roll-up canopies for unobstructed views; and
  • experienced Captains and deckhands to guide each tour.

In addition, the popular downtown Cleveland attraction is updating its original cycleboat vessels to increase capacity to 15 passengers each.

Founded in 2016, BrewBoat Cleveland has given more than 12,000 rides over the past five years. This new expansion will allow for a new cruise to leave dock every half-hour, up to 20 times a day.

The company is the recipient of a 2020 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award and Cleveland Magazine’s 2016 Best of Cleveland award for “Best BrewBoat.”

“The significant expansion and addition of the BrewBoat Lite small group options reinforce BrewBoat Cleveland as one of the region’s top summer attractions,” said Freddie Coffey, Captain and Chief Leisure Office at BrewBoat Cleveland. “We know that after the past year, people are really itching to get back together in a fun and, more importantly, a safe way. Whether it’s a birthday, a bachelorette party or just reuniting to have a few cold ones with friends or family, we have options for everyone.”

Booking for the 2021 season is well underway. Prices for the 1-hour 40-minute party cruises start at just $399. BrewBoat Cleveland opens for the 2021 season in May.
